Looking for Thanksgiving music tracing worksheets to introduce basic music symbols to early elementary students?
I created these printable tracing pages to help young learners practice fine motor handwriting skills while learning music notation during the fall season. They work well for music centers, independent desk work, early finishers, or substitute lesson plans.
Each half-page card features clear dashed guidelines for tracing symbol names and musical shapes on staves, paired with seasonal Thanksgiving line illustrations.
--- WHAT IS INCLUDED? --- 16 printable tracing cards (10 .pdf pages, 8 student pages).
- Clefs (pp. 1–2): trace names and symbols for treble clef, bass clef, and alto clef.
- Notes (pp. 2–5): trace names, note heads, stems, and beams for whole, half, quarter, eighth, and sixteenth notes.
- Rests (pp. 6–8): trace names and rest symbols for whole, half, quarter, eighth, and sixteenth rests.
- Staff (p. 8): trace the word name and horizontal lines for the music staff.

Students need a pencil to trace words and symbols, and crayons or colored pencils if they choose to color the pictures.
